The First UK Albania Investment Forum 2008
The UK Albania Investment Forum gathered over 180 delegates in Whitehall on May 7th 2008 for a stimulating full day programme. Cabinet ministers from Albania, alongside its central bank governor , attended the event for the purpose of engaging with the UK investment community.

A variety of investment prospects were discussed in detail with key note presentations made by the Albanian government, EBRD, industry leaders alongside contributions from the All Party British-Albanian Parliamentary Group.

After a successful Forum, the day’s proceedings were followed by an evening reception at the Houses of Parliament.

The UK Tanzania Investment Forum 2008

On 17th April, 2008 over 200 delegates attended the UK Tanzania Investment Forum at Savoy  Place in central London. The Tanzanian Government, represented by its Vice President, key ministers, central bank governor, investment centre and several major businesses came to the UK for the purpose of engaging with the investment community from the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.
 
A number of specific investment projects were discussed in detail with key note presentations also made by the British Government and parliamentarians.
 
A very successful Forum was followed by an evening reception and a one day Diaspora event for Tanzanian migrants living in the UK.
